Make a property damage claim

Here is what you should do when making a property damage claim:

• Take relevant photographs of the scene in general and the damages of the property.
• Do not dispose of any damaged items.
• Ensure reasonable steps are taken to minimise or avoid further damages.
• Make a police report immediately if losses and damages are due to theft (forcible entry or exit to the premise) or malicious acts.
• Obtain the name and contact details of any negligent third party who caused damage to your property.
• Collect the names and contact details of any witnesses, together with their consent to be a witness.
• Call your servicing agent or our General Claims helpline at +65 6248 2638. A loss adjuster may be sent to investigate and assess the damage in your premise.
• Assist and cooperate with our loss adjuster during the investigation and assessment of the damages.
• Obtain quotations for repairs and vendor assessment report on the cause of damage.

You will need to submit the following document for your claim:

• Property claim form

2. Include supporting documents

In addition to the form in the previous step, we'll also require you to submit the following supporting documents:

• Photographs
• Police report (if applicable)
• Repair quotations and replacement invoices
• Vendor damage assessment report
• Witness names and contact details

The list of documents are not exhaustive and we may request for additional information or documents in the course of our claim review.
