Create a Great ID account

Great ID is a unique sign-in identity that you can use to securely sign in to Great Eastern's digital services such as the Great Eastern app, eConnect, and Great Eastern Rewards.

Great ID is available to both Great Eastern policyholders and non-policyholders.

Verify that you are a Great Eastern policyholder with either your personal ID (e.g. NRIC) or policy number. Fill in your particulars and tap Next.

Key in the one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number. Tap Submit.

Fill in your preferred name and email address, and set a password. Tap Next.

An OTP will be sent to the email address which you had keyed in in the previous step. Key in the OTP and tap Submit.

Tap Let’s go! to return to the sign-in page.

If you wish to enable biometric sign-in, tap Yes when prompted to do so. Otherwise, tap Not now to complete the setting up of your Great ID.

Your phone would be prompted to verify the biometric(s) you had set up in this device previously. Once your biometric has been verified, tap Continue.

Questions and Answers

Verifying yourself as a Great Eastern policyholder will allow us to give you access to the right digital services.

Here are the steps to take to verify yourself:

  1. If you already have Great ID but has not verified as policyholder, there are two ways to verify yourself
    • Go to eConnect or Great Eastern app and sign in with your Great ID. Follow the instructions to verify yourself as a Great Eastern customer.
    • Go to Great Eastern Rewards “Me” page, and verify yourself as a Great Eastern customer.
  2. You will be asked to provide one of the following details:
    • Identification number
    • Date of birth
    • Gender
    • Policy number (from any one of your policies)

Alternatively, you can get a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number in our records. Enter the OTP and you’re done with the verification process.

The policy number is an 8- or 10-digit number (omit the dashes when keying in the policy number) found in the following documents:

  • Policy schedule page
  • Renewal premium notice
  • Payment official receipt
