GREAT Famtastic Promotion 2024 (“Promotion”) Terms and conditions

1. This Promotion from The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited (“GELS”) shall run from 26 November 2024 – 31 January 2025 (both dates inclusive) and is open to selected customers who purchase an eligible plan as stated below only.

2. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Promotion, selected customers who purchase any of the eligible plans below will get to enjoy a 15% discount on the first premium payment (for any of the payment frequencies). This is capped at S$100 off the total premium payment of all eligible products purchased per eligible customer.-

3. The discount is only valid via E-Pay option (Credit Cards & PayNow QR). This promotion does not apply to purchases made with other payment methods such as E-GIRO, Bank Transfer & Over The Counter Payment.

4. Balance value of the voucher, if any, may be used for the next insurance policy purchase (refer to eligible plans).

5. The offer cannot be encashed, gifted or transferred.

6. In the event that the policyholder:

a)     replaces the Eligible Plan; or 

b)     downgrades the plan type and/or deals with the Eligible Plan in any way which reduces the total premiums payable,

within twelve (12) months from the date of issue of the Eligible Plan, GELS has the right to require the policyholder to return the value of the discount to GELS. In addition, the policyholder agrees that GELS may deduct the value of the discount which was issued to the policyholder from the cash value of the Qualifying Plan or from any sums due owing to the policyholder from GELS, at its sole discretion.

7. The discount is  non-refundable or extendable. 

8. By participating in the Promotion, you agree and consent to GELS and its related corporations (collectively, the “Companies”), as well as their respective representatives, agents, authorised service providers and relevant third parties (the Companies and all the other foregoing parties, collectively, “Great Eastern Persons”), collecting, using and/or disclosing your personal data, for purposes reasonably required by the Companies to administer the Promotion and such other purposes as described in GELS’s Privacy Statement which is accessible from GELS’s website, which you confirm you have read and understood.

Your consent herein supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consents that you may have previously provided to Great Eastern Persons, and your consent is cumulative and additional to any rights which any of the Great Eastern Persons may have to collect, use, and/or disclose of your Personal Data, with or without your consent, to the extent permitted under applicable law.

In addition, where personal data of any person is disclosed by me/us, I/we further confirm and represent that I/we have obtained the consent of the individual concerned for the Purposes, unless such consent is not required under applicable laws: (i) to collect such personal data; (ii) for the disclosure of such personal data to the Great Eastern Persons; and (iii) for the Great Eastern Persons’ collection, use and/or disclosure of such personal data.

9.  This Promotion is not valid with other offers or promotions unless otherwise stated.

10. GELS shall be entitled at its sole and absolute discretion to replace or substitute the offer with another gift of equal or similar value selected by GELS.

11. Notwithstanding anything herein, GELS has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any person to participate in the Promotion. If GELS subsequently determines that a person is in fact not eligible for this promotion for any reason whatsoever, GELS may at its discretion, disqualify that person and clawback/cancel the voucher without prior notice and liability to any person.

12. GELS reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions or extend or withdraw the Promotion at any time without prior notice. The decision of GELS on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final and binding on all customers.

13. You hereby agree to all the terms and conditions of participation in the Promotion as set out herein, including all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications hereto as may from time to time be made by Great Eastern.

14. The terms and conditions of the Promotion shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.
