Terms and conditions
- The Redeem, play, win! campaign (the “Campaign”) is organised by The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited (“Great Eastern”). To be eligible for the Campaign, participants have to be users (as defined below) of the Great Eastern Rewards mobile app (the “App”) and perform at least one (1) of the qualifying transactions listed in paragraph 3, for a chance to win prizes by playing the “Shake & Win” game (“Shake & Win”). All dates and times stated are in Singapore Time, UTC +08:00. There will be strictly no extension to the campaign period.
- A user refers to a Great Eastern Rewards account user and such users have been verified as a Great Eastern customer on the App. A user can verify themselves as a Great Eastern customer by tapping on the ‘Verify as a Great Eastern customer’ button under the ‘Me’ profile tab in the App and follow the on-screen steps to complete verification.
- Each participant must perform at least one (1) of the qualifying transactions listed below between 25 September to 15 November 2024 for a chance to play Shake & Win.
- Eligible participants will be notified via email (i.e. the email address tagged to the App) and in-app notification on 25 November 2024 to play Shake & Win from 1 December - 15 December 2024 (“Game Period”). Participants are reminded to enable in-app notifications so as not to miss this notification.
- During the Game Period, each participant who performed 1 - 3 qualifying transactions will stand a chance to win one (1) of the following prizes:

- Each eligible participant is entitled to a maximum of five (5) tries per day or until a prize is won, whichever is earlier. Once a prize is won within your prize category as set out in paragraph 5 and 6 above, the participant will not be eligible to continue playing the game.
- Prize will be credited to the winners' Great Eastern Rewards account in the App instantly.
- The decision of Great Eastern shall be final and binding on all participants. Notwithstanding anything herein, Great Eastern has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any participant for the Campaign.
- Great Eastern shall be entitled at its sole and absolute discretion to replace or substitute any of the prizes with another item of equal or similar value selected by Great Eastern. Each prize is not exchangeable for cash or for any other items.
- This Campaign is not valid with other offers or promotions held by Great Eastern unless otherwise stated.
- By participating in the Campaign, each participant agrees and consents to Great Eastern and its related corporations (collectively, the "Companies"), as well as their respective representatives, the Companies' authorised service providers and relevant third parties (the Companies and all the other foregoing parties, collectively, “Great Eastern Persons”), collecting, using, disclosing, and/or sharing amongst themselves such personal data, for purposes reasonably required by the Great Eastern Persons to conduct and administer the Campaign which the participant is signing up for and such other purposes as described in Great Eastern's Privacy Statement (collectively, the “Purposes”) which is accessible from Great Eastern Singapore’s website, which each participant confirms they have read and understood.
- Each participant’s consent herein supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consents that participant may have previously provided to Great Eastern Persons, and each participant’s consents herein are cumulative and additional to any rights which any of the Great Eastern Persons may have to collect, use, and/or disclose of a participant’s Personal Data, with or without that participant’s consent, to the extent permitted under applicable law.
- Great Eastern shall not be liable for or be responsible in respect of any expenses, losses, costs, damages, liabilities or other consequences of whatsoever nature (collectively “Losses”) suffered or incurred directly or indirectly by participants of the Campaign howsoever caused or arising and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, whether by reason of or on account of any act or omission whether negligent or otherwise on the part of Great Eastern or its employees or agents.
- Great Eastern reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions or withdraw this Campaign at any time without prior notice.
- By participating in the Campaign, the participants shall be deemed to have agreed to abide by all terms and conditions of participating in the Campaign as set out here, including any amendments, additions, replacements and modifications hereto as may from time to time be made by Great Eastern.
- The terms and conditions of the Campaign shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereto.
Qualifying transactions:
a. Redeem any deal from 'Health', 'Travel', 'Home' or 'Motor' categories on the App. The successfully redeemed deal must be reflected in your Transaction History under the "Me" profile tab on the App for this transaction to qualify.
b. Redeem any merchant voucher from the GREAT Catalogue using GREAT Dollars on the App. The successfully redeemed voucher must be stored in "My Vouchers" on the App or reflected in your Transaction History under the "Me" profile tab on the App for this transaction to qualify.
