Terms of Use

By clicking “proceed” or otherwise using or accessing the Singapore Financial Data Exchange (including to retrieve data or by viewing any retrieved data), You confirm that You have read, understood and agree to the Terms and Conditions Governing Use of Singapore Financial Data Exchange and Our Data Protection Policy (collectively, the “Agreements”), including consenting and authorising Us to retrieve through the Singapore Financial Data Exchange Your personal information (including identification number and IP address) and account, policy, financial, transactional and/or other data (including from or relating to joint accounts or policies) (“Data”) and to collect, process, use and/or disclose Your Data in the manner set out in the Agreements, and in particular for: 

the specified purposes, which include: 

• evaluating the financial planning services suited to Your needs, assessing and processing Your applications or requests, and/or the provision, by Us, to You of any financial planning services; 
• Your use and/or access and the operation of the Singapore Financial Data Exchange; 
• monitoring and conducting data analytics, relating to, or in respect of, any new or existing financial planning services, the provision of any financial planning services or Your use of any financial planning services; and/or 
• to comply with any applicable laws, rules, guidelines, circulars, practice notes, orders, directions or guidance issued by any governmental and/or regulatory authority in Singapore or in any relevant jurisdiction, and/or to discharge, enforce or defend any of Our contractual or other legal obligations or rights; and

such purposes as set out in Our Data Protection Policy. 

If You have previously provided to Us (or any authorised user of the Singapore Financial Data Exchange) consents in respect of your Data in accordance with the Terms and Conditions Governing Use of Singapore Financial Data Exchange and such consents are in force, You agree and consent to the renewal of Your consents and the extension of the validity period of Your consents (provided to authorised users whose systems support such renewal and extension) in accordance with the Terms and Conditions Governing Use of Singapore Financial Data Exchange.

You also agree and consent to any authorised user of the Singapore Financial Data Exchange (including Us) disclosing Your Data to its authorised third party agents, and You agree and consent to such authorised third party agents collecting, processing, using and/or disclosing Your Data in the manner set out in the Agreements, including for the purposes set out above.

The Terms and Conditions Governing Use of Singapore Financial Data Exchange will also apply whenever You instruct Us to update or refresh Your Data through the Singapore Financial Data Exchange.

Note that no representation or warranty is made (and all express, implied and statutory representations and warranties of any kind are expressly disclaimed) as to the accuracy, adequacy, completeness or correctness of any Data retrieved through the Singapore Financial Data Exchange. In particular, there may be instances when certain deviations (such as outdated values, incomplete benefits/product etc.) could arise due to varying practices in data handling and/or presentation or otherwise.
