Apply for policy top-up

You can top up your Dependants' Protection Scheme (DPS) to full coverage without being subject to a health declaration by making the required premium payment within the payment grace period of 60 days from the renewal date.

You can apply for a top-up of your DPS:

  • when the policy is renewed at partial coverage due to partial CPF deduction, or
  • if the CPF deduction of renewal premium is unsuccessful, or
  • if the policy premium is not paid by CPF and is overdue.

If the CPF deduction of renewal premium is unsuccessful or if the policy premium that is not paid using CPF and is overdue, the policy will lapse if the payment is not received once the grace period expires.

Topping up after the payment grace period or reinstating a lapsed policy will require a health declaration and underwriting.
