Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia is a rewards platform that allows all to enjoy greater deals and offers every day.

Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia is free for all to use. If you register in Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia as a Great Eastern Customer, you will be able to enjoy more deals.

Download Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia from the respective app store. Once downloaded, tap on “Sign up”, enter a valid email address and create a password. If you are a Great Eastern Customer, please register and follow the steps as indicated within the app. 

Please use the latest software version of your mobile phone. Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia is compatible with latest 2 major version of OS release:

  • iOS 15 and above.
  • Android OS 12 and above.

Account Related

Simply login to your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account to change your name under “Manage Account”.

Go to the login screen and tap “Forget password”. An email with the verification code will be sent to your registered email address.

To reset password, tap on “Forget password” at the login screen.

Please tap on "Forget password" and enter the email address used during sign up. Check your mailbox and/or junk box for instructions to reset your password.

Your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account will be deleted automatically if it is inactive for 30 months consecutively. 

To update your personal particulars, tap on “Manage Account” under “Me” tab. Please note that any changes in your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account will only be reflected in the app and not in your other Great Eastern policies/certificates.

You may verify yourself after you have successfully created your account by tapping “Verify as Great Eastern Customer" under the "Me" tab.

Step by Step Guide:

To synchronise your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account:

a. Select "Me" at the bottom tab

b. Select "Verify as Great Eastern Customer"

c. Enter your ID type and ID number

d. Confirm your mobile number and receive a 6-digit verification code via SMS

e. Complete verification with your 6-digit verification code

If you see the "Great Eastern Lion" logo on the top left hand corner of the Great Eastern Rewards app, it means that you have verified yourself as a Great Eastern Customer.

No, you are not allowed to have more than one Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account.  

Great Eastern reserves the rights to disable, delete, or suspend your account if you invent a false persona or misrepresent your real identity.

Once your account is disabled, deleted, or suspended, you will not be allowed to create another account without our permission.

Technical Related

Please ensure:

a. You have already signed up for an Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account

b. You have entered a valid and correct email address 

c. You have entered a correct password

Redemptions & Rewards Related

Select the e-voucher that you want to use and tap on “Use it now”. You may be prompted to perform the following:

a. Scan a QR code (provided by merchant) at the cashier counter

b. Allow the cashier to enter a Merchant Pin

c. Allow the cashier to scan the barcode

d. Enter the promo code upon checking out your cart item

Please present the reward to the cashier/staff of the participating store. The cashier/staff will need to verify the e-voucher and will enter a unique “Merchant Pin”.

You may retrieve your Barcode/Promo code from the “Transaction History” in “Me” tab.

Yes, you may transfer the e-voucher(s) to someone under the condition that the e-voucher(s) is found in “My Vouchers” tab. You will need to have the email address of the person you intend to transfer the e-voucher to.

All e-vouchers that are transferable will have a “Gift box” icon. Just tap on the “gift box” icon and enter the email address of the person you intend to send the e-voucher to.

You will receive a notification once your friend has accepted your e-voucher.

If your friend decline or did not accept the e-voucher within 3 days, the e-voucher will be returned to you in “My Voucher” tab.

The e-voucher will be returned to you in “My Voucher” tab within 3 days if left unaccepted.

You can view your “transaction history” under the “Me” tab.

Your e-voucher is no longer in the app due to:

a. E-voucher has expired

b. E-voucher has been successfully redeemed

If you have redeemed a reward using your GREAT points or won a reward through “Play & Win” and are unable to see your rewards in “My Vouchers” kindly contact us at rewards-my@greateasternlife.com.

Yes, all rewards have an expiry. Please check on the validity of the selected reward.

Please check:

a. Internet or 4G connection

b. You have selected the correct store for redemption

c. The correct validation (QR code/Pin) from the Merchant is applied

d. Your e-voucher’s barcode or promo code was not shared and used by others

Points Related

No, GREAT Points does not have any expiry.

Transferring of GREAT points is only applicable for users who have successfully verified their accounts to identify themselves as a Great Eastern Customer. The “Great Eastern Lion” logo on the top left hand corner of the Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia app identifies you as a Great Eastern Customer.

a. You must verify your accounts to identify yourself as a Great Eastern Customer. You will see the "Great Eastern Lion" logo on the top left hand corner on the Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia app once you have successfully verified yourself as a Great Eastern Customer. 

b. You may have exceeded your GREAT points transfer limit.

You may transfer a maximum of 10,000 GREAT points per day.

GREAT points can be collected through the following:

a. Selected consumer promotion from Great Eastern

b. Purchase GREAT points via Top-Up Services 

c. Other avenues that may be made available to members from time to time

Tap on “Points Catalogue” at the Home screen to redeem your GREAT points for rewards.

Your reward(s) will be found in “My Voucher” tab once you have made a successful redemption with your GREAT points.

You may also see that your GREAT points have been successfully deducted under “Points History” in “Me” tab.

No, all redemptions made on your discretion are non-refundable and irreversible.

Biometric Login Related

Biometric Login is a fingerprint or face recognition feature available to securely access your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account without having to key in your Great ID and password. This feature is readily available for iPhone and selected Android devices that support the Biometric Function.

You will need to enable the Biometric Login function on your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia app in order to use this as your Login method.

Step- by-Step guide:

a. Launch your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia App

b. Login to your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account by keying in your Great ID and Password

c. Once you have Login, you will be prompted to set-up the Biometric Login Function

d. Click “Yes” and place your Finger on the “Home/Screen” to scan your Fingerprint or Click “Yes” and place your phone in front of your face for facial recognition.

Once you have activated Biometric Login function on your device, you should be able to see message “Authentication successful, Biometric Login is now enabled”. Alternatively, you may check under the “Me” tab to ensure that the Biometric Login toggle is “ON”.

Please tap “OK” and proceed to Login. Once you have Login to your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account, you will be prompted to set-up the Biometric Login function for your subsequent Login.

Biometric Login on Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia will only be applicable for devices that support the Biometric function. Biometric Login is only supported on Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia app version 2.8.0 onwards.

You can disable the Biometric Login function whenever you like. Simply Login to your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account and deactivate the function under the “Me” tab.

You will need to set-up the Biometric Login on your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia app if you have changed to a new device

You will still be able to Login to your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account. Please key in your device passcode on iPhone and pattern for Android devices to Login to your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia account.

Please ensure that you have turned on and configured the biometric function in your device settings.

You can go to the “Me” tab and turn on Biometric Login from there.

When you log in with another account using the same device, your biometric enrolment record on our Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia application will be removed. Please ensure that you do not share your device with other users.

E-Premium Voucher Related

An e-premium voucher is a voucher that can only be used for the initial premium payment upon submission of the proposal of assurance of a new Great Eastern Life regular premium insurance plan. This e-premium voucher is not applicable for renewal or reinstatement of policy.

The e-premium voucher is only applicable to eligible customer who is able view the e-premium voucher from “My Vouchers” in Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia.

Eligible customer can use the e-premium voucher to purchase a new policy with Great Eastern. The e-premium voucher is not applicable to Great Eastern Agents.  

Please refer to the e-premium voucher’s terms and conditions stated in the Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia app.

This e-premium voucher is applicable for all Great Eastern Life regular premium insurance plans except the regular premium insurance plans without medical underwriting, single premium plans, standalone medical plans, group insurance plans, bancassurance plans, SmartInvest Premier, and shall not be used in conjunction with other promotions. You may confirm with your friendly Great Eastern Agent.

After log in to Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia, tap on “My Vouchers” to retrieve the e-premium voucher. The e-premium voucher is only available during the validity period.

You are required to present your e-premium voucher with the voucher code to your friendly Great Eastern Agent.

Subsequently, your Great Eastern Agent is required to insert the e-premium voucher code in the policy application app (MPOS) upon the submission of your proposal for assurance before the policy is in force.

Appeal will not be accepted if the e-premium voucher code is omitted during the proposal submission in MPOS. 

Please ensure that the following criteria is fulfilled:

a. Valid e-premium voucher code

b. Valid promotion period

c. Valid NRIC that is assigned to the proposer

d. Valid plan code

e. E-premium voucher has yet to redeemed

f. Meet the minimum annualise premium.

Each e-premium voucher is valid for one (1) application (one time use) only.

The e-premium voucher can be transferred as a gift to your friend or family member via Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia. All the e-premium vouchers that are transferrable will have a “Gift box” icon.

Just tap on the “Gift box” icon and insert the intended person’s email address and NRIC or scan the QR Code generated from the Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia app of the person you intend to send the e-premium voucher to (“Recipient”).

The Recipient must sign up using the same email address and need to accept the gift in order to redeem the e-premium voucher.

However, the e-premium voucher can only be transferred for two (2) times only.  

Please note that the e-premium voucher may only be used by the Recipient if they are the proposer for a new regular premium life policy.

You will receive an email/in-app notification once your friend/family member has accepted your e-premium voucher.

There is no refund of amount on the premium voucher in the event that the policy is terminated/withdrawn. The e-premium voucher cannot be reused again. Please seek advice from your friendly Great Eastern Agent.

Any expired or unredeemed e-premium voucher will be forfeited after the validity period.

The e-premium voucher will be returned to you in “My Vouchers” tab within three (3) days if it is not accepted by the recipient.

You can view the transferred or redeemed e-premium voucher(s) from your “Transaction History” under the “Me” tab in the Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia app.

Kindly check whether:

  • You have verified yourself as a Great Eastern Customer under “Me” tab in the Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia app; or
  • You have met the campaign/reward’s criteria.

Points Top-Up Related

You can top-up your GREAT points with 4 simple steps listed below:

a. Select Top-Up Icon from the “Me” page or click on “Need points? Top Up Now” from the vouchers redemption page under the Point Catalogue;

b. Choose the points denomination that you would like to top-up;

c. Key in your credit/debit card details on the payment page;d. Click “I Agree” on Terms of Usage (“ToU”) for ePay Services; and

e. Key in the required details until payment is successful.

Great Eastern’s customer who has verified themselves as a Great Eastern customer in Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia Application can only top-up a maximum of RM300 per month which is equivalent to 30,000 GREAT points.

Points available for the Top-Up Services are 100, 500, 1000 and 5000 points and subject to changes from time to time.

a. Ensure that you have not exceeded the top-up and credit/debit card limit

b. Ensure that you are using a valid Visa or MasterCard

c. Ensure that you have stable internet connectivity

d. Ensure that you have verified yourself as a Great Eastern Customer in Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia Application

All Credit/Debit cards with Visa or MasterCard are applicable for the top-up of GREAT points.

The Top-Up Services is only applicable to Great Eastern’s Customer.

Yes. You will receive an SMS and Email once you have successfully top-up. Alternatively, you may check under “Points History” and “Transaction History” in your Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia Application for the records.

No refunds will be allowed.

No. All GREAT points cannot be exchanged for cash.

Currently, GREAT points have no expiry date. If there is a change of policy, all members will be notified accordingly.
