Getting started

Great ID is a unique sign-in identity used to manage your Great Eastern digital services. Great ID is available to both Great Eastern policyholders and non-Great Eastern policyholders.

All you need is a valid email address.

Yes, you can create your own Great ID account, to access Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia mobile app but you will not have access to features exclusive to Great Eastern Policyholders.

We encourage you to have a unique Great ID account to ensure that you are given access to the right services.

Here are the steps to take to create a Great ID account. Please note our Privacy Policy before signing up:

  1. Go to the Great ID sign in screen on eConnect or Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia mobile app and register for a Great ID account.
  2. Enter the following information:
    1. Your name.
    2. A valid email address. This will be used as your sign-in ID.
    3. Create a password.
  3. Follow the instructions on the next screen to verify your email address. You can find the verification code in your email inbox.

Note: If you get a message that there is already an account with the email address you provided, then it is likely that an account was created earlier. Please refer to “What should I do if I forget my password?” for instructions on how to retrieve your password.

Sign in with your Great ID at sso-myweb.greateasternlife.com to change your password.

For Great Eastern policyholders

Verifying yourself as a Great Eastern policyholder will allow us to give you access to the right digital services.

Here are the steps to take to verify yourself:

1.There are 2 ways to verify yourself

a. Go to eConnect sign in with your Great ID, a link will be given to verify yourself as a Great Eastern Customer.

b. Go to Great Eastern Rewards Malaysia mobile app “Me” page, and verify yourself as a Great Eastern Customer.

2.  You will be asked to provide either,

  • a. Identification Number
  • b. Date of birth
  • c. Gender

OR

  • Identification number
  • Policy number (from any one of your policies)

3. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number in our records. If this is not your mobile number, please refer to “How Do I Update My Mobile Number” for instructions on how to update your mobile number.

4. Enter the OTP and you’re done with the verification process.

The policy number is an 8- or 10-characters found in the following documents:

  • Quarterly statement
  • Policy schedule page
  • Renewal premium notice
  • Payment official receipt

There might be a mismatch of your details in our records. Please update your details or contact our customer service.

Troubleshooting

  1. In the Great ID sign in screen, go to the “forgot your password” link.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Verify your email address by using the verification code sent to your email inbox.
  4. Enter a new password.

You can unlock your account by resetting your password via the “forgot your password” link.
